First up was a fairly common workload of code compilation for a few large C-based open-source projects. Right from the start we see the AWS Graviton4 performance at 192 vCPUs far exceeding the performance of the 192-core AmpereOne A192-32X server. It was a bit surprising to see the Graviton4 performance so far ahead of AmpereOne, granted the 192-core Graviton4 configuration is via two sockets and sporting twelve channel DDR5-5600 memory compared to AmpereOne's current limits of eight channel DDR5-5200 memory.

With John The Ripper crypto tests meanwhile were one the areas where AmpereOne did manage to outperform the Graviton4 192 vCPU metal configuration. There was strong performance out of AmpereOne in the crypto performance compared to Graviton4 with its Neoverse-V2 cores.
