With the RawTherapee program shipped on each of the Linux distributions, CachyOS was again delivering the best performance for this creator program for RAW image processing.
CachyOS, Pop!_OS 24.04, and Ubuntu 26.04 were all faster than upstream Arch Linux for kernel compilation times.
Arch Linux itself was also the slowest for code compilation with the Godot game engine.
👁 simdjson benchmark with settings of Throughput Test: DistinctUserID. Pop OS 24.04 was the fastest.
Ubuntu and Pop!_OS did perform well with simdjson.
