Catalyst On Ubuntu 14.04 Linux Competes Well With Windows 8.1

The performance of Xonotic between Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and Windows 8.1 was close to the same speed with Catalyst 14.4, but for a few graphics cards the Ubuntu Linux OpenGL performance was slightly higher.
Xonotic with ultimate image quality settings had yielded wins for Windows 8.1 when using the pre-GCN graphics cards. The Radeon R9 290 under Windows with this OpenGL game was unstable during the testing process but worked flawlessly under Linux.
