The i3-8100 is much stronger than the Ryzen 3 1300X and Core i5 6500 with the TTSIOD renderer running on the CPU.
While if x264 video encoding is your thing, its performance remains better than the Ryzen 3 1300X while being in line with the older eight-core FX-8350 Vishera CPU.
The Core i3 8100 also shows off with the asmFish chess benchmark.
And also does well in code compilation performance.
