In the C-Ray ray-tracing benchmark that's highly threaded and largely bound by core count and clock speed, the i3-8100 is only aligned between the Ryzen 3 1200 and Ryzen 3 1300X.
While with OpenSSL, the Core i3 8100 does much better than the 1300X Zen processor.
In the OpenMP Xsbench test is the only time where the Core i3 8100 came in behind the Ryzen 3 1200.
