Intel Core Ultra 9 285K "Arrow Lake" Linux Performance Up ~9% One Year Later At ~85% Power Use
The performance in Mozilla Firefox is a lot better on Arrow Lake since last October. Massively better. Part of it is due to Firefox upstream improvements in general but also some Arrow Lake work that's gone on and Intel continuing to optimize P/E core behavior under Linux.
It wasn't only the performance doing much better but the Core Ultra 9 285K was also consuming significantly less power now in November 2025 with the latest Linux stack and system BIOS compared to October 2024 at launch.
Nice gains across all of the different web browser benchmarks under Firefox with this latest open-source Linux software stack for this Arrow Lake desktop.
