The OpenJDK Java workloads varied but CachyOS followed by Arch Linux did strike up a few more wins here as well.
CachyOS followed by Arch Linux were outperforming Ubuntu Server on this 96-core AMD EPYC Server in various video encoding workloads.
CachyOS was leading in the code compilation speed tests while Arch Linux was noticeably slower than the derivative. CachyOS not only led with the fastest build times but in the best power efficiency too.
CachyOS and Arch Linux did enjoy a big performance boost in the AES-GCM benchmarks of OpenSSL, which might come down to kernel improvements found with Linux 6.18.
