The RADV Vulkan ray-tracing performance has matured quite a lot over the past two years or so. But one of the areas where the NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards continue to perform much better than the Radeon graphics cards is still around ray-tracing.

In the various Vulkan ray-tracing benchmarks, the NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards on their official Linux driver perform much better still than RADV ray-tracing.

For those wondering about OpenGL performance, Unigine Superposition continues to be one of the most demanding albeit aging OpenGL benchmarks. The RadeonSI driver remains nicely competitive with the official NVIDIA OpenGL driver on Linux.
