👁 Dbench benchmark with settings of Client Count: 12. XFS was the fastest.

👁 Dbench benchmark with settings of Client Count: 48. XFS was the fastest.

XFS also continued to perform exceptionally well with Dbench.

👁 ClickHouse benchmark with settings of 100M Rows Hits Dataset, Latency, First Run / Cold Cache. Btrfs nodatacow was the fastest.

With the ClickHouse database server Btrfs with copy-on-write disabled for the database storage picked up a rare win for Btrfs albeit with slim margins.

👁 CockroachDB benchmark with settings of Workload: KV, 60% Reads, Concurrency: 128. EXT4 was the fastest.

👁 CockroachDB benchmark with settings of Workload: KV, 60% Reads, Concurrency: 256. XFS was the fastest.

👁 CockroachDB benchmark with settings of Workload: KV, 95% Reads, Concurrency: 256. F2FS was the fastest.

👁 CockroachDB benchmark with settings of Workload: KV, 95% Reads, Concurrency: 512. Btrfs nodatacow was the fastest.

Meanwhile for the Cockroach database the results varied depending upon the scenario and more run-to-run variation than typically observed. Btrfs without CoW and F2FS were standing out a bit here compared to some prior rounds of Linux file-system benchmarking.
