Linux 7.1 Is Performing Well Overall In Early Benchmarks

Of the code compilation tests with different open-source projects, I wasn't seeing the Linux 7.1 upgrade make any impact on performance there.

The first workload where I was spotting performance gains out of Linux 7.1 was with the Pogocache in-memory store on this AMD EPYC server.

Similarly, the Memcached performance was also seeing some modest but consistent performance improvements when moving from Linux 7.0 stable to Linux 7.1 Git.

The cloud-native Cockroach distributed SQL database was seeing some performance gains as well with the early development state of Linux 7.1.

For other databases like PostgreSQL and TigerBeetle, I hadn't seen any performance changes on this server platform used for testing.
