It will be more interesting to see soon how the Loongson 3B6000 compares more to prior generation AMD and Intel CPUs using DDR4, etc.
Going into this the expectation wasn't that the Loongson 3B6000 was running neck-and-neck with AMD Zen 5 or Intel Arrow Lake but rather an approximate showing for how this Chinese CPU design compares. Follow-up content will look for a more comparable point for older Intel and AMD CPUs matching the Loongson 3B6000.
All things considered the performance was better than I initially anticipated especially considering what I've seen out of some of the RISC-V developer boards.
