The proprietary V-RAY renderer was also in great shape with the GeForce RTX 5090 and delivering 1.4x the performance of the prior generation GeForce RTX 4090. The performance-per-Watt was comparable to the GeForce RTX 40 series while the GPU thermal numbers continued to look quite good for this Founders Edition graphics card when considering the higher power consumption.
With the OpenCL-powered IndigoBench rendering workloads, the GeForce RTX 5090 continued running strong on Ubuntu Linux.
