The F1 2017 racing game with Vulkan saw a performance drop when using Linux 4.19 kernel with newer Mesa builds. The PRO Vulkan driver meanwhile was back to crashing with this game.
Mad Max with some of the scenes was also seeing lower performance using the latest AMDGPU+Mesa components but for the most part was close. AMDGPU-PRO 18.40 with the Vulkan driver built against its proprietary shader compiler was seeing the best performance in most of the scenes for the Radeon RX Vega 56.
