AMDGPU-PRO 18.40 Vulkan also performed the best for The Talos Principle with the RX Vega 56.

With Thrones of Britannia tested at medium quality settings, the six tested driver configurations were within frames of each other.

But when pushing this Vulkan game to extreme settings, AMDGPU-PRO 18.40 and AMDVLK were the fastest while Mesa 18.3-dev is fortunately closing that performance gap.

With the aging Unigine Heaven OpenGL performance benchmark, AMDGPU-PRO 18.40 surprisingly is still much faster than RadeonSI Gallium3D.

Meanwhile with the newer Unigine Superposition benchmark, the PRO OpenGL driver was the slowest.
