Raspberry Pi 500+ Benchmarks: Mechanical Keyboard Computer, 16GB RAM & NVMe SSD
While still having the same four Cortex-A76 cores, the Raspberry Pi 500+ with NVMe storage and 16GB of RAM was able to perform much faster code compilation now than with the Raspberry Pi 500.
The Raspberry Pi 500+ is much more capable now for serving as a developer desktop with being able to compile code much faster now thanks to the increased RAM and faster and more reliable storage.
Of course, for pure CPU bound workloads like 7-Zip compression or Python scripting there isn't much of a difference going from a Raspberry Pi 500 to Raspberry Pi 500+ given the same SoC.
Similarly, the PHP performance was unchanged with the Raspberry Pi 500+.
