The OpenMP-threaded John The Ripper software was performing slightly better with the increased memory capacity of the Raspberry Pi 500+.
Apache Casandra was performing much better with the Raspberry Pi 500+ than the Raspberry Pi 500 from last year.
For any workloads involving a lot of I/O, the Raspberry Pi 500+ with its 256GB of NVMe storage was performing much better than the Raspberry Pi 500 with micro-SD storage only.
The increased memory capacity of the Raspberry Pi 500+ was leading to faster video encoding performance.
