When looking at the performance of the packaged Zstd on each RHEL release, with some compression levels/settings there were very nice Zstandard performance improvements on RHEL 10.0 beta. RHEL 10 is using Zstd 1.5.5 compared to Zstd 1.5.1 on RHEL 9.

With the GraphicsMagick program built from source on each RHEL release, there were some significant improvements going with RHEL 10.0 beta on this AMD EPYC Turin server.

For workloads like video encoding with the encoder built from source on each release, the RHEL 10.0 beta upgrade yielded some incremental gains on this 5th Gen AMD EPYC Supermicro server used for testing.
