Across various other workloads were also some additional nice gains on RHEL 10.0 beta.

While moving to major new compiler releases can often lead to slower build times due to additional optimizations and other features added to the compiler to enhance the build experience or better optimize the resulting binaries, RHEL 10.0 beta with GCC 14 was also building many codebases faster than the GCC 11 release on RHEL 9.

There were some minor gains with the ClickHouse database server on this early RHEL 10 build.

PostgreSQL performance was one of the few areas with slightly lower performance on RHEL 10 for this AMD EPYC server.
