While more work is needed for RISC-V to catch-up to current generation ARM or x86_64 processors, the SiFive RISC-V performance has advanced significantly over the past 4~5 years.

The SiFive HiFive Premier P550 was running stable without any issues on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS throughout all of my testing going on for weeks.
