The OpenGL performance gains were nice, but for those running any games with Vulkan ray-tracing is where the results get all the more wild.

With Quake II RTX as a Vulkan ray-tracing, benchmark-friendly game, the Radeon 890M performance was typically doubled compared to the Ubuntu 25.10 / 24.04.4 HWE stack. Valve engineers and others have done a lot of work on RADV ray-tracing improvements over the past even just six months.

The DDNet platformer game rendered using Vulkan (no ray-tracing) there was some surprisingly large performance benefits too. Some of these gains may be driven in part by GNOME 50 Mutter optimizations as well.
