As we have been used to seeing for years, the Linux performance on the AMD Ryzen desktop was outperforming Microsoft Windows 11. Even with the new Windows 11 25H2 release, both Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS and Ubuntu 25.10 were faster. Between the 9950X and 9950X3D, there didn't tend to be any real change in the relative performance between Windows and Ubuntu Linux.
Ubuntu continued outperforming Windows 11 on both the 9950X and 9950X3D processors by roughly the same relative margins.
