PETSc and Apache Cassandra 5.0 were among the few benchmarks performing better in HEX mode than SNC3.
For those curious about the SNC3 vs. HEX clustering mode performance difference, hopefully these results were of some value and to quantify the performance impact for optimizing to properly deal with multiple NUMA domains for today's multi-die processors.
