Welcome to News Tips!
Some of our best stories begin with readers who notice something others don’t. Maybe it’s happening in your town, your industry, your school, your workplace, or your community. If there’s a story, trend, controversy, or unanswered question you think The Free Press should be paying attention to, tell us about it here. Our editors are listening.

A major new report on trans activism in children's publishing
The report Through the Looking Glass looks at how trans activism captured children's publishing and library services in the UK. There are really good chapters on biological sex and child development (something publishing bods tend to be weak on). I believe it will be of huge interest to ordinary FP readers. https://www.transgendertrend.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/SEEN-report-14.pdf is the full report. Mustafa Salik, accused of stealing England's football kit
Two truck drivers were arrested, Erfan Kamal and Mustafa Salik. The latter may indeed be the owner of a LinkedIn profile based in San Antonio, which is both where the accused lives and where the trucking company is based. If it's the same person, he could be from Afghanistan since the profile lists Gharghasht High School under Education. Follow up question might be: Did they have truck drivers licenses, and if so, which state issued them?
