The nation's biggest network keeps getting better
With an £11 billion investment, opportunity awaits. Vodafone runs on The Nation's Network - the combined Vodafone and Three network.
What is "The Nation's Network"?
"The Nation's Network" is the combined mobile network infrastructure under VodafoneThree Holdings Ltd, following the merger of Vodafone Limited and Hutchison 3G UK Limited. This combination brings together two nationwide networks into a single, integrated infrastructure.
As a result, it creates the UK's biggest mobile network infrastructure*, measured by the number of mobile sites (masts) available to customers. So, as a Vodafone customer, you get access to more mobile sites on the UK's biggest network - The Nation's Network.
But it doesn't stop there. As the UK's biggest network, we're on a mission to continue getting better. In fact - we're legally committed to it. We're investing £11 billion in to help transform connectivity for every home and business across the nation, powering the UK's digital future and creating a platform for innovation and next‑generation technology. This investment will support the continued development and expansion of our network infrastructure, including increasing the number of sites and improving coverage over time.
Our network development forms part of VodafoneThree's commitments following the merger, which are subject to regulatory oversight. These commitments require the delivery of nationwide improvements to mobile infrastructure over time, ensuring the network continues to expand and evolve.**
