Tokyo Ghoul:Re is a summarized anime version which turns out badly made, due to overly compressed on the story plot. I personally don't mind summarized anime, as long as the plot makes sense. However for :Re in this case, it was made with numerous unanswered questions to some of the scenes shown in the anime, in turn the story plot appears messy and rather confusing to the viewers. You might enjoyed this anime more without watching the prequel anime Tokyo Ghoul.
But for hardcore fans of Tokyo Ghoul, if you enjoyed the first two seasons, you can continue watching it, if you just like to know the ending. I also read the manga afterwards to find out more on all the unanswered questions from the anime.

The first two seasons had their problems but also had a strong sense of purpose and direction. While the third season seems to be mostly leading up to this final installment, this last season is such a mess of plot and continuation that it's hard to stay interested in everything and anything that's happening.

There's simply too many characters coming together and they all have some sort of bone to pick or redemption moment which gets pretty corny as the season drags along. The battles becoming more ridiculous and weightless (oh no another mortal wound, just shrug it off) doesn't help in that regard either.

All in all if you really liked the setting and plot so far, it may be worth a shot. For me, however, I feel like the series should've ended with root A.

Its a decent ending to this series. However, I feel like there were too many characters and the plot was all over the place. Season 3 & 4 were a big dissappointment compared to the first 2 seasons. Recommended only for some sort of ending. :D

I'll simply say that it's a kinda good close up of the story so far. If you watched it this far, you can watch this season to know how it all end.

I'm probably a little biased towards this series. Ever since the first season, and even more so from the second season. Though the third season was a struggle.

I feel like this final season has a pretty nice way of closing everything up. Though I'd say the biggest problem with the whole series is how many holes it has, how many plot failures.

But, if you're one for character progression, growth, and something conclusive, you'll definitely get that with this.

I'll probably go back and watch the whole series, season by season, again in the near future. I think that should say everything about the series as a package.

Enjoy.

After rewatching this complete anime, Tokyo Ghoul, Root A, Re, and reading the manga, I realized why this anime failed as a whole, beginning censored and the plot was greatly reduced, imagined over 400+ chapters and compressed into a 48 episodes anime. I only realized / assumed the reason for the compressed anime was this anime focus mainly on two species - Humans & Ghouls.
Assumptions - The production for this anime was further censored in terms of plot as well, they don't want to show fully what humans does to Ghouls as compared to the manga, so viewers can established Humans (Good) and Ghouls (Bad), the whole plot all reduced to cut parts out related to Humans, or maybe to prevent psychopath in the making upon watching. The whole anime failed overall, during S1 we saw the ending Ghoul Kaneki kicked ass and joined the Aogiri. This all was done to cut out the manga plot involving Humans part. Actual fact Kaneki never ever joined Aogiri in the manga plot, S2 then continued with Ghoul Kaneki do all the bad ass stuff = shows Ghouls are bad. S3 & S4 Re then featured Human Kaneki becomes good. Sad to say this whole anime failed as a whole.

Said strength usually allows them to win fights, or at least to last longer; stronger people are also normally able to withstand harsh conditions more easily than the rest, and even do things as simple as carrying heavy weights around. This tag also applies when a race is stronger than others (think the Sayajin), as long as said weaker races are also a part of the cast., seriousSomeone is said to be serious when they exercise at least moderately above-average seriousness, which is an attitude of gravity, solemnity, persistence, and earnestness toward something considered to be of importance.
