Why this scraper is reliable

Capterra runs on a React SPA that changes frequently — which is why all existing Capterra scrapers have ratings below 2/5. This scraper uses multiple CSS selector fallbacks for each field so that if one selector breaks, others continue to work. Residential proxies prevent Capterra's aggressive anti-bot detection.

Limitations

• Public data only — ratings, review counts, and pricing are publicly visible without login
• Category search — results match Capterra's search algorithm; for full category coverage, use specific category slugs
• Pricing accuracy — Capterra shows "starting from" prices provided by vendors; actual pricing may vary
• Residential proxies required — Capterra blocks datacenter IPs; do not disable proxy settings
