Fighters from the International Battalion of the 12th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov cleared the village of Zoloty Kolodiaz in Dobropillia community of Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region from occupiers.

"Abandoned to their fate, the occupiers spent months holed up in the basements and burrows of this village in Dobropillia axis. To finally eliminate enemy resistance, fighters from the Interbattalion of the 12th Azov Brigade took up the task of clearing the area. In just one day of the operation, they managed to capture 18 Russian Armed Forces servicemen," reads a message posted on the National Guard of Ukraine Telegram channel.

According to a video released along with the announcement, the Russians were surrounded, without communication, and cut off from supplies for approximately four months. Four Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and large Ukrainian hexacopter attack drones, likely Vampire models, participated in the assault on Interbat.

Among other servicemen, the platoon commander, a Russian Army officer, was captured.

As the deputy commander of the Interbattalion, call sign Beretta, noted, the operation to liberate Zoloty Kolodiaz lasted 21 days.
