Not a single Lancet missile can reach Kyiv – advisor to defense minister
Not a single Russian Lancet-type attack UAV is physically capable of reaching Kyiv, stated advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Defense, Serhiy Beskrestnov (Flash).
On his social media, he emphasized that the Lancets are electric attack UAVs with a small ammunition load for engaging frontline targets, and these UAVs physically lack the battery life and radio control capabilities.
"I believe that the debris was likely deliberately dropped from the Shaheds as part of an enemy information operation. I am very sorry that one publication decided to play along with the enemy and capitalize on this by publishing official police photos from the site where the debris was discovered," the adviser to the Minister of Defense stated.
According to him, information is still being collected to analyze the events, and it is too early to draw conclusions.
"We're studying radio signals, camera video, radar data, and photographs from interceptor drones. It's too early to draw any conclusions," Flash added.
