Danielle Brooks (born September 17, 1989)[1] is an American actress and singer. She is well known for her breakthrough role as Tasha “Taystee” Jefferson in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black and her role as Leota Adebayo in the Peacemaker TV series.
Brooks is the actor portraying Dawn in A Minecraft Movie. She was revealed to be featuring in the movie in late 2023[2] and made her first appearance as Dawn on September 4, 2024 in the movie's teaser trailer.
