Block to Unlock was an official mini-game made to promote A Minecraft Movie, made available on the official A Minecraft Movie website.
After entering the site (from 24th February to 28 February [verify] 2025), the user will be greeted by a grid filled with different dirt and grass blocks. These blocks can be clicked on, and behind them an image from the movie is hidden. Some of the blocks hide exclusives, however, after February 27, all the blocks are dug up, in the field there is a link to the final trailer of the film. There are three of them in total, and they go into the inventory from four slots. To increase the number of blocks you can dig up,was needed to share the ⚒️ using #MinecraftMovie on X.
The first of the exclusives is a video on the official Warner Bros. channel. Which tells about realms-server on which the actors of the film play. The second exclusive is a video, that teases a new trailer of A Minecraft Movie, which was released on February 27, 2025. The third exclusive is link on Minecraft Marketplace for a new free add-on. Ultimately, the website revealed an image of a panda.
