Elytra are consumable items that can be found within the Echoing Void DLC of Minecraft Dungeons. They are used to traverse the End Wilds and Broken Citadel missions.
In the End Wilds, an elytra is found on top of an end ship. In the Broken Citadel, the player starts with an elytra equipped. Once a player has equipped the elytra they will have it until they leave the mission.
Elytra can be used with firework launch stations to be launched into the air. After being launched, the player will be able to glide around in midair while slowly descending. The player can also dive onto the ground, which triggers an explosion, damaging all mobs nearby.
Rolling with an elytra equipped will cause the player to glide momentarily before falling.
