A pillager is a crossbow-wielding illager mob that slowly fires arrows from a distance. Pillagers spawn with various equipment depending on their tier. The second tier is equipped with a gold-trimmed helmet.

Pillagers are encountered in the Deep Dark and snowy mountains.

Pillagers are slow-moving ranged enemies that fire arrows from their crossbows when at a safe distance. If heroes draw near, they begin backing up while continuing to load and fire their crossbows. If a hero enters melee range, they cease attacking and walk away from the attacker.
