A mob (short for "mobile", "mobile entity", or "mobile object") is an AI-driven video game entity. They can be encountered in the forms of passive animals or hostile enemies, and can typically be harmed for drops. Summonable mobs cannot be harmed by heroes and are summoned from artifacts or as pets.
