should a “sic” be added behind “emancipated” which i believe should actually be “emaciated”?

i obviously won’t just change the word because it’s a direct quotation, but i think this should be considered, “sic” is added behind grammatical, spelling, etc errors on other wiki pages Oshen2009mc (talk) 01:02, 19 May 2025 (UTC)

Maybe it still should be there to prevent further confusion...? It's no transcription error (at least, I assume so) and it might seem to be. Really all the template says is "no, it wasn't an error.
