Forum:Suggestion: Drafts in user pages

What about adding a new section in users' profile pages named "User drafts" (or just "Drafts"), so it goes along with "Talk" and "User contributions"? Usually editors make their own sandboxes to, in my case, paste English articles to translate little by little or do tests and whatever I'd like before actually publishing them officially. I think having this stated whenever one go to their profile page can make it clear that "Oh, I can put my ideas in here!" kind of thought, encouraging more contributions in the wiki, maybe. Also, MCW:Sandbox is barely used (at least in the Portuguese Wiki) and it's left more hidden than if it were in the user's profile page directly. I'd like to know what y'all think about this and if we should or not implement that. - by 👁 Image

 Oppose. This is for new editors right? Will they translate the whole article like what experienced editors do? At least on Chinese Wiki, most new editors tend to correct mistakes, add info or other minor changes. I don't see much value for the draft. 👁 Image

 Oppose – I don't think it's worth it. The head navigation menu is already quite crowded for user pages. And where is this tab going to link to? If it just goes to Special:MyPage/Draft, it seems pretty useless to me. GIM Dianliang233 T C 07:14, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
