Legends:Play Mode

Play Modes are the four game modes playable in Minecraft Legends.

A list of the various play modes in the game:

• Campaign, where the storyline takes place and the goal is to defeat The Great Hog.
• Versus, a mode where two teams compete to destroy each others Wellhouses
• Lost Legends, a collection of nine "legends" with various rules and skin rewards.
• Myths, a collection of second-party games which are paid on the marketplace.

The Campaign is the main play mode of Minecraft Legends, where the player goes through the main storyline and attempts to save the Overworld from the piglins that are invading it. The Hosts guide the player through this mode, acting as characters within the story.

Versus Mode, also known as PvP Mode, is where 2 teams of up to 4 players fight against each other to destroy each others' wellhouses. Some game mechanics differ from the Campaign, such as the absence of most structures, different structure costs, and a few completely exclusive structures.

Each Lost Legends has its unique mechanics, objectives and custom gameplay. Some, like The Portal Pile and The Hunting Season, are about defending villages, while some, like Treetop Trampoline... of DOOM! and Creeper Clash, are about destroying piglin bases in a time limit. Some, like Legend of the Llama and Snow vs Snouts, even feature completely overhauled gameplay. Lost Legends released monthly until January 2024.
