- Check the references section if you're in doubt. It surely is real. βπ Image

Done The page has been moved to a non-official sounding name, and as far as I'm concerned, my request has been fulfilled. If any editors prefer moving the page to another title, please start a new discussion.
"Another Minecraft Movie", while very likely and in line with the name of the previous movie, is not the official title. The "source" is an interview with VFX artists, who aren't involved in deciding the movie name. I suggest moving the page to a much more neutral and less official-sounding name such as "A Minecraft Movie sequel".--Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 13:37, 10 October 2025 (UTC)

Support I definitely expect this to be the name but itβs far too early to say. Realshow19 (talk) 13:56, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- Looking over the page as it currently exists, the name Another Minecraft Movie is used multiple times like itβs the confirmed name. Meanwhile the alternatives arenβt even cited, thereβs only a note saying itβs been used. Realshow19 (talk) 14:35, 10 October 2025 (UTC)

Support, far too early to know. Gwen Stacy (talk) 15:45, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- While "Another Minecraft Movie" is not the actual name, it is the only name that actually has a citation and is, in fact, used by people who worked on the first film. The other two names, "A Minecraft Movie 2" and "Minecraft 2" do not have any citations and are not used by people associated with the first film. The way the page looks now clarifies that all three names are conjectural.Drour1234 (talk) 16:12, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- Being used by people who worked on the first movie is pretty irrelevant considering that VFX artists do not decide the movie name, and as far as we know they might not even work on the sequel. We'll only know the official name when it's publicly announced by Mojang/Warner Bros. "Another Minecraft Movie", "A Minecraft Movie 2", "Minecraft 2" etc are all official-sounding names that are purely conjectural, and we should avoid using them. "A Minecraft Movie sequel" gets the job done, it's descriptive and it's clearly a placeholder that is not pretending to be an official name.--Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 16:37, 10 October 2025 (UTC)

Agreed, AMCM sequel or even something like Untitled Minecraft Film would be ideal. Realshow19 (talk) 16:46, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- "A Minecraft Movie sequel" would probably be better. The "tentatively referred to as" section in the lead should probably be kept after a move. π Image

- Yeah, again I think Another is probably the name but it's too early to treat it like this. Realshow19 (talk) 17:14, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- While I support "Another Minecraft Movie" over "A Minecraft Movie 2" and "Minecraft 2", I could be fine with "A Minecraft Movie (sequel)" or "A Minecraft Movie sequel" (with "sequel" as lowercased), but letβs wait until we hear from more people (maybe also an admin) in this discussion before moving the page.Drour1234 (talk) 17:08, 10 October 2025 (UTC)

- Saying itβs valid because itβs the only one someone has put on the page is a logical fallacy. If I remove the VFX citation and add four sources saying AMCM2, would that magically make it more likely? The source given for Another is only notable because of confirmation bias, we have no reason to think that guy is even working on the sequel. Realshow19 (talk) 16:45, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- At least the name was used by people who worked on the first film. The other names were only ever used by the media.Drour1234 (talk) 17:14, 10 October 2025 (UTC)
- The people in question are just random contractors, just because it's been mentioned once doesn't make it evidence for anything. Realshow19 (talk) 17:21, 10 October 2025 (UTC)

Support. Additionally I would use "A Minecraft Movie sequel". β 3A | T C 06:13, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- I would π Image
Support the name "Untitled Minecraft film", even though I do not condone Realshow19 moving the page to that name without discussing that name first. The only downside I see to that name is that it is vague and does not make clear that it is a sequel to A Minecraft Movie. On the other hand, there is nothing upcoming to be confused with it. Overall, I would still π Image
Support "A Minecraft Movie sequel", but would be fine with "Untitled Minecraft film (or better still: "Untitled A Minecraft Movie sequel").Drour1234 (talk) 17:22, 11 October 2025 (UTC)

Can we absolutely confirm the title? I wouldn't be shocked if it's real, but the sources given don't sound very reputable, and Discussing Film deleted their original tweet about it. If there's not hard evidence it was announced at the convention they might just be parroting that. Realshow19 (talk) 22:43, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
