The article states that Fire Resistance "nullifies most fire-based damage," but this implies that it does not nullify all fire-based damage. I'm pretty sure there are no sources of fire damage that are not nullified by Fire Resistance. If this is the case, shouldn't we change the wording to imply complete fire immunity? --UnimpressiveVernacular (talk) 15:42, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
Ghast fireballs and blaze touch attacks are not affected NotRobotForSure (talk) 20:30, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
Article states that Fire Resist prevents undead mobs from catching on fire in sunlight.
I can confirm that in Java 1.20.1, Fire Resistance does NOT prevent undead mobs from catching on fire from sunlight, just the damage.
Does anyone know if this is true for any versions ? The Minecraft version History doesn't show this ever being updated in code, so I'm wondering if it was ever true. DrNusbaum2 (talk) 16:05, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
In this section, in the notes, there is information about the witch and when she drinks this potion, but the hyperlink to the witch is slightly broken at the end of the word. There is an option to fix this using Template:EntitySprite , where only the head will not be hyperlinked, but the entire text will have. Or somehow else, idk. Issues link bug: the only issue talks about spawn protection despite having the words "fire" and "protection".
{{issue list}}. I'll resolve this for now. --MinecraftExp123(talk|contribs) 00:26, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
{{issue list|\"Fire Protection\"}}, but the text above the bugs would display incorrectly, so maybe Module:Issue list needs to be changed to allow that. --MinecraftExp123(talk|contribs) 01:33, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
