I just realized that the name of fall.gravel is actually "fall.grsvel"! Someone do something in 20w19a or something! -Jimmyjam999 (talk) 10:48, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
It is mentioned on the page that the drop rate for the flint is 100% with Fortune 3 (Needs testing). I can affirm that this information is false. Although it is very high, it is not 100%. With a Fortune 3 shovel I dug up 6 full stacks of flints, and aside from those I still got 12 blocks of Gravel. So the drop rate can't be 100%, but is very close to that. Through my own testing I had flints drop with a rate of 97%, but just my own testing is insufficient to provide a clear drop rate, so I did not change any information on the Wiki. Also as a side note, I did this on the Bedrock edition.
If you had torches on the ground it's possible that some of the gravel fell on it from above and made regular gravel??
After a quick test I'm pretty sure I know what's causing this. When mining gravel "normally", it drops flint 100% of the time. However, when instamining columns of gravel, few of the falling blocks can end up in the same space. Whichever touches the ground first is placed, and the next one drops as gravel, like it happens in cobweb. Melwin22 (talk) 14:58, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
