at some point recently, looting was capped to only give the equivalent of a certain level. exact level is unknown. further testing is required. 2020.04.04

According to this article, the possibility for a rare drop can be rerolled if you have Looting. However, the Rare drops section on the Drops article makes no mention of this, and most loot tables do not take this reroll chance into account. Iikeli (talk) 05:27, 18 July 2024 (UTC)

Update: I decided to remove the sentence completely because it's been there since 2019, and probably even earlier before the enchantments themselves are split, so it's probably outdated.
