To give a better idea of how the bot operates, since we do have the error messages listed, we could decide on a set of questions to ask the bot, and then record and present its answers. It could be something like;
- Tell me about yourself.
- How do I craft a pickaxe?
- What is a creeper?
- How do I defeat the Ender Dragon?
Any other suggestions? ๐ Image

- That's not how LLMs work. The response will be different every time. Plus, Merl is trained on the info of Minecraft Support and is trained to not answer questions that aren't already answered on the website to ensure most information is factual, so most of the time it will either cite a specific article on help.minecraft.net or it will give an error. You can ask it to "tell me about yourself" but it won't be the same for everyone. ๐ Image

- I see, still, could there be a better way to showcase what the output is like, even if it's different every time? To see how it structures the response at least. ๐ Image

What text to speech TTS voice does Merl Minecraft Support Virtual Agent use? Oklamine (talk) 16:54, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
There's a lot of details in her workshop that could be documented too, her Cat Peanut Butter can be seen as static mesh, there's a hanging sign with the text #FreeMerl, and her unused glasses are on the crafting table with the model name repairProject.
Also the scene weighs in at 42,554 triangles, it doesn't appear to have been optimised as there are a lot of faces that would not be visible, i.e. completely obsured faces behind the stairs, fencegates to walls, bottoms of chests. bases of flowerpots. The UV mapping also appears to be just slightly off, making it's subtle in most cases but can definitely be seen up close on any edge between two different textures.

- I agree. Maybe under the trivia section? Would #freeMerl be a valid addition to the list of easter eggs wiki article? Izveneur (talk) 21:51, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
- It looks like File:WorkshopTextureAtlas.png isn't the only Texture file, at least the Cat and this Sign don't seem to be fully included in it, right? HyBoxwood (talk) 10:36, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
- they are on the texture atlas, look closer, left hand side right under all the blocks. ~ Arrran ๐ Cakebomb

- Minwi is an internal, Minecraft wiki specific mascot that has no connection to the Minecraft franchise, meaning it is out of scope for documentation on the wiki. See our MCW:Notability guidelines for more info. TheCaptainYaya (talk) 05:50, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
