Anachronist… I think you don’t know what are you talking about. A crested Penguin (Eudyptes) is a Genus of Penguins (Snares, Royal, Southern Rockhopper, Northern Rockhopper, Easter Rockhopper, Erect-crested, Fiordland & Macaroni Penguin) just like the Fiddler Crab (Uca) which is a Genus of Crabs. (I don’t know why you hate to remove the Crested Penguin source even despite its Obvious that the Snares & Rockhoppers are both Eudyptes but you didn’t removed the Source of the Crab) One developer mentioned that the MC Camel represents all Camels, Just like the MC Frog which represent all Frogs. Continuing this discussion: I have protected this article due to edit warring, and removed the trivia entry again, as have other editors including another admin. The burden for inclusion is on those who want to include it, not on those who are referring to MCW:TRIVIA to remove it.
If it's "obvious" what the design is based on, then the rules don't permit it. If it isn't obvious, then supply a reliable source. If you can't supply a reliable source, then the entry can't be there. It's that simple. ~Anachronist (talk) 19:30, 2 October 2025 (UTC)

- Alright then. I think it's obvious to people who know the six penguin genera that this is a crested penguin (no other penguins have crests), but most people wouldn't know since most people don't know the penguin genera. Same with the trivia on the crab page, as most people wouldn't know the crabs are based on fiddler crabs but to people who know crabs well (not the general public), it is obvious. This is the extent of my argument for the crested penguin trivia.

- See MCW:TRIVIA. We don't include things that are obvious. It is your own opinion that the general public is ignorant. It is obvious that the Minecraft penguin has a crest, I'd say (my own opinion) is that most people have likely seen live versions with a crest, so it's redundant to point this out in trivia. ~Anachronist (talk) 04:00, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
