About a month ago i found an archive called knarcraft. I downloaded beta 1.8 and the oldest server i could find. the website is now shut down, but i uploaded the oldest server to dropbox so anyone can have it. here it is https://www.dropbox.com/s/7hu8m1yfr0us2br/Minecraft_Server-a0.1.0%281.0.15%29.exe?dl=0 Diamonddemon669 (talk) 18:51, 5 February 2020 (UTC)

While there is a tutorial page showing the contents of the ops.json file, I can't find a page or section dedicated for the explanation of what the different parts of the file do.
A section either on this page, or on a new page would be appreciated, with contents akin to the following:
- [NBT List / JSON Array]: The root tag.
- [NBT Compound / JSON Object]: One of these for each operator.
- [String] uuid: The UUID of the operator, in hyphenated hexadecimal format.
- [String] name: The username of the operator.
- [Int] level: The permission level of the operator.
- [Boolean] bypassesPlayerLimit: Whether this player can join the server even while the number of players online has reached the limit set by the
max-playersproperty. Note that players with this setting still count toward the limit despite being exempt from join restrictions.
Am I missing something, or maybe I just didn't spot something like this somewhere else? This feels like it's missing or in the wrong place, because I wasn't able to find it.
I would appreciate some insight into where such documentation would be best fit into these pages.

Please remove the link! I can't edit this article since I'm not "autoconfirmed" yet, I migrated my account from Fandom just now.
Also, I've read there are forks of Bukkit that are more performant so you may want to remove mention of Bukkit entirely and say "third party server software" or "alternative server software". Maybe someone could add a section for alt server software here, or to the "Mod" article. (Which I can't edit either.) Yaomtc (talk) 04:33, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
Under the 'Variants' tab explaining the 'Open to Lan' feature for Bedrock edition it states: "Players can join a singleplayer world if they are friend with the world owner on the Xbox network." I think the friend part of this sentence is supposed to say "are a friend with" or "are friends with". Sorry if I am mistaken as I am dyslexic.
