Any thought of adding a "mod" parameter that allows linking to articles under Mods/{{mod}}/{{ingredient}} rather than linking directly to an article under the core namespace? I'm no expert with MediaWiki templates so the concept of adding one myself is a bit intimidating. --JT 03:05, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
I uploaded the updates to make animations possible without animated gifs. Currently it only works for the default style! Also the JavaScript and CSS still has to be uploaded (like described here).
Please if there is any bug in it, report on my talk page (or fix it yourself of course).
Also maybe someone has to correct my commits to the doc page. (My English isn't that good.) --STS(t|c) 20:12, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
On the Dutch wiki I made a little modification to translate links. The template originally links to the same page as the name of the image. To change that you need a database of English words and translations (like this one). If some languages are interested, take a look at the Dutch templates or contact me on my talk page.--STS(t|c) 14:08, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
I've made an optimized version for this template, but it no more supports the image parameter. So before uploading we have to make sure all page are updated to the new way of animating grids. I sthere some list of pages already converted? Or is there an abbylity to get a list from media wiki of pages using the image parameter of this template? The optimized version will support animating grids using mods.--STS(t|c) 10:24, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
For animated items with a quantity value (ex: breaking an ore block into 9 ingots), the quantity number link is wrong. It links to all of the items being cycled through seperated by underscores. An example from the Crafting page:
Click on the "9" to see what I mean. Anyone know how to fix this? --Warlock 20:16, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
{{Grid/Crafting Square Slide}} template, but the error you have is not from the template. You should have as much OA values as Output values :I saw you guys use images to make the background of the grid, but there is an easier method, not requiring position:absolute;, but just letting it fit in the table cell. Here is an example:
Styled table:

As you can see that styled table looks (almost) identical to File:Grid layout None (small).png, and changing the height and width to 46px you got the large background image. I think this would be quite useful, but do with it what you want. Also, if you don't know how to add this or something, I could add it myself too, but I'd like to hear what you think about it first Joeytje50 10:03, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
Someone replaced the template with a single image. I tried to revert it, but it doesn't appear to have worked entirely? --billybobfred 21:41, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
We need a better way to indicate shapeless crafting recipes, such as those of Mushroom Stew, Book, Fire Charge, Book and Quill. Any ideas? —Fenhl 00:24, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
{{Wool Crafting}}. —Fenhl 16:05, 3 June 2012 (UTC)Is there any way to add a custom image/item to a crafting recipe? For example.
{{Crafting Table
|A1= Sweet Berries |B1= Milk Bucket |C1= Sweet Berries
|A2= Egg |B2= Sugar |C2= Egg
|A3= Wheat |B3= Wheat |C3= Wheat
|Output= [[File:PancakeInvSprite.png]] (Pancake Stack)
}}
would output
with 👁 Image
in the output slot with the mouseover tag of "Pancake Stack".
I've tried to put only the image in, but it glitches out and states there's a problem with the module. DarthKeidran (talk) 23:51, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
I've tried to use this template to show a recipe, but there's a problem.
IT NEVER SAID WHAT PARAMETER NAME I SHOULD USE
I mean, like, I know I'm talking like a noob, but when I try to put in the recipe data, It shows NOTHING.
I've tried Recipe, Crafting Table, etc., but I can't find any parameter name that works. Am I just putting it in the wrong spot or what? I would really appreciate it if you helped.
Sorry if I'm just stupid and editing it in the wrong place. Aden8000 (talk) 19:32, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
