A lot of stuff

I really like the idea of having pages for each official worlds for Minecraft but this project seems to be still heavily work in progress.

Some of these worlds are so obscure I couldn't find any information about it online. I want more information regarding these worlds: "MINECON 2011", "Redstone Mansion", "Forest Lodge", "Underground Minecart", "DIY Xmas Puzzles!", "Mojang Xmas Puzzles", "Villains", and "House of Horrors".

I don't really get why "Terra Swoop Force", "Monster Attack : Nian", and "Lucky's Minigame Mayhem" are included in the Main section.

There is also an official world of another roller coaster map that was made by Blockworks for the one-year anniversary for Windows 10 Edition (https://web.archive.org/web/20160813105016/http://mojang.com/2016/07/minecraft-on-windows-10-is-one-year-old/)

Probably it would be nice if the Main section was divided into Java and Bedrock sections

You can find more gathered information about some of the more obscure games here. The majority of maps are exclusive to Bedrock and the list of official Java Edition maps is rather small so splitting the navbox based on this makes imo not much sense right now. โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ Image

If you're interested in helping, remember to check out Project DLC. Right now we have a number of drafts for maps, the current plan is to prioritize the simplest ones and work our way up to the more cinematic Marketplace worlds. Realshow19 (talk) 15:17, 10 August 2024 (UTC)

Navbox overhaul

As I'm looking over this thing I can't help but feel like it's a bit of a mess. There are a pretty huge amount of maps, and there's only more to come, spread across too many subsections where most of these could be in multiple. I think it's time we reevaluate what the navbox should be and if it's necessary to have multiple. We could trim down by splitting this into Marketplace, Education, and Java maps, but there are far more Bedrock maps than Java, and all three have the occasional overlap. I want to add that there isn't really a page for this topic (or I didn't find it?). Unlike add-ons, skin packs, and other content there isn't a page listing all official or Marketplace worlds or templates, I need to go specifically to this navbox to find them. Thatโ€™s a good point, Iโ€™ll try and start a draft. Realshow19 (talk) 15:31, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
Got it started, not sure if this format will work but it's better than nothing. Realshow19 (talk) 02:38, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
Yeah, the current categorization is both completely arbitrary and unhelpful when searching for a map. I think they should be mainly split by edition, with entries being repeated in multiple categories if needed. I'm not a fan of the "cross-platform" category used in other DLC pages as it's very vague (which platforms exactly?), and in this case there aren't many overlaps anyway. --Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 01:55, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
Here's a draft of how I would sort the navbox. Rather than categorizing by map type/genre (which is an extremely vague concept and not really useful for readers), I've grouped them by edition and then categorized them by "release context" (e.g. maps that are tied to new updates, maps that are tied to brand collaborations etc).
The categories can be tweaked, but I mainly wanted to group all the third party maps that were released as part of marketplace campaigns in their own category. On that note, I've also removed all prequel/sequel maps that weren't released as part of official campaigns; if their story is important to understand an official map, it can be described in a short paragraph, but an entire page for unofficial third party content is excessive. --Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 17:59, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
Looks like a good start, though I'd try to give more room for the collabs somehow. Those are the most popular type of DLC and the bulk of what's being released at the moment, in just a few months that section could get much larger. Realshow19 (talk) 18:41, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
