Hi there! I was wondering if you could put your skin texture out on the wiki. I use Blockbench, and I make custom skins for myself, and I usually check the recent files, where you uploaded a whole bunch of files from the Hive server.

Hey! I don't like to put actual textures in the public. Especially for my skin as people might take it and use it as their own.

As well, in case you were wondering, I won't ever release the texture files for the Hive server as it's prohibited. The files I uploaded are essentially screenshots which has been confirmed by Hive to be allowed. 👁 Image

I use Blockbench for creating and animating skins! I know a couple of friends who use Blender too but I feel like Blockbench is the most user friendly and easy to understand.

Convert the file to .gif. This is the most common file type for animated pictures. Blockbench does this automatically. 👁 Image

It's been a while but I'm pretty sure I made 3 separate animation parts then overlapped them (to the lowest common multiple, e.g. if the head rotated for 2 seconds, and the arm moved for 3 seconds then I would loop both of them to 6 seconds). 👁 Image

Hey! Thank you for your suggestion :) i really do appreciate all feedback because it makes me happy people are seeing my user page :D

At first, it was going to be "Bring back Legacy Console Edition" but I thought it was too long and less aesthetically pleasing. I didn't want to abbreviate it to "LCE" (because I didn't like it) or want to shorten it to "Console Edition" as that could be confused with Bedrock.

I think Legacy Edition perfectly matches all the criteria I was looking for as:

• It wasn't long
• It wasn't abbreviated
• It wasn't ambiguous

And even if anyone was still confused on what it Legacy Edition meant, the wiki actually redirects that phrase to Legacy Console Edition. So our own encyclopaedia answers our own questions :D

Hiding your skin file provides a minimal layer of obscurity. Since you play on the Hive all the time, one can simply extract your skin using hacked clients or tools like RenderDoc to extract it from the GPU. And since you joined a server with the Floodgate plugin at least once, a mangled copy is available.

Yeah, I had to edit the arm pixels as they were mangled, it isn't 100% the original, but it is pretty close.
