Please refrain from creating unlikely typo redirects. They are very unnecessary and take up the wiki's space, and when one searches and makes a typo, they can just search again fixing the typo. ‑‑MinecraftExp123(talk|contribs) 13:20, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- "unlikely" are you 100% sure about that, MinecraftExp123? Citar () 13:21, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, no one needs them. Please stop. ‑‑MinecraftExp123(talk|contribs) 13:21, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- If so, then why do already existing typo redirects exist? e.g. Aple Citar () 13:22, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- Because they were created a significant period of time ago and deleting them isn't really worth it (since they may break links). However, new and very recent ones should just be deleted, and you definitely should not be making more. ‑‑MinecraftExp123(talk|contribs) 13:23, 7 June 2026 (UTC)

If you continue to break our rules or make unconstructive edits, you may be blocked from editing. ‑‑MinecraftExp123(talk|contribs) 13:24, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- Are you calling this "unconstructive"? Citar () 13:27, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, a reader making these typos does not need them as they can just retype fixing the typo (or the result shows up anyways), but it does clutter pages (Special:RecentChanges and stuff) and possibly maintenance categories for editors. Furthermore, for the administration of the wiki, this definitely uses nontrivial resources if you keep creating a massive amount of them. ‑‑MinecraftExp123(talk|contribs) 13:55, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- Fine, I won't create any more unlikely typo redirects, like you told me not to. Citar () 13:56, 7 June 2026 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to the Minecraft Wiki. Your edits continue to seemingly constitute harmful or disruptive editing and have been reverted. If you want to experiment, please use the wiki sandbox or if you're a registered user, your own sandbox. Repeated violations of our rules can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. TheCaptainYaya (talk) 19:25, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- "your edits continue to seemingly constitute harmful or disruptive editing" what exactly? Citar () 19:26, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- Why are you continuing to argue with us and spamming. Stop. TheCaptainYaya (talk) 19:30, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- ok Citar () 19:31, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- There are billions of possible combinations of letters and characters similar to titles of pages on current wiki, you surely don't mean to create a permutation for every letter swap of any title, do you? Wiki already does show "close" title after failed search is attempted. Please explain to me, how your contributions to this wiki are helpful in this context. Frisk (talk) 19:28, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- I am using search digest, and I am NOT gonna create too many permutations of page names Citar () 19:29, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
- Well, your contributions before you started using SearchDigest show otherwise. SearchDigest is a tool which is meant to help us find more common issues in searchability, it's not an excuse to create billions of redirects because 3 creatures slipped a finger, or someone inflated search failures artificially. This tool had to be restricted once for this reason. I believe there are other areas on the wiki you could improve instead, I can recommend Minecraft Wiki:Projects/Standardize and rewrite tutorials project. Frisk (talk) 19:34, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
