Fix issues with passwords and passkeys
You can save your contact and sign-in info, like passwords and passkeys, to Chrome. If it doesn't work when you let Chrome save your info, try these fixes.
You can manage passwords saved to your Google Account in Chrome or any other web browser at passwords.google.com.

Chrome doesn’t offer to save your passwords
You can save your password to Chrome even if you aren't automatically asked to when you fill out a form.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- Enter your info on the website you want to save the password for.
- To the right of the address bar, select Password 👁 Save your password
👁 and then
Save.
If you don't find the Key icon, delete your password and try to sign in again.
Edit or delete your saved passwords
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, select Profile 👁 Profile
👁 and then
Passwords 👁 Passwords
. - To edit or delete a saved password, select More 👁 More
👁 and then
Remove or Edit password.
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click Profile 👁 Profile
👁 and then
Passwords 👁 Passwords
. - On the left, click Settings.
- Turn Offer to save passwords off.
Click on the text field for your password. You'll see a list of suggestions based on your saved info.
If you still don't see suggestions, Chrome might not be able to detect the right fields on the website.
You can look up your saved info by following these steps:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click Profile 👁 Profile
👁 and then
Passwords 👁 Passwords
. - To the right of the website, click Preview 👁 Preview
