Fix issues with passwords and passkeys
You can save your contact and sign-in info, like passwords and passkeys, to Chrome. If it doesn't work when you let Chrome save your info, try these fixes.
You can manage passwords saved to your Google Account in Chrome or any other web browser at passwords.google.com.

Chrome doesnβt offer to save your passwords
Delete your password and try to sign in again.
Show, edit, delete, or export passwords
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome π Chrome
. - Tap More π More
π and then
Password Manager π Passwords
. - To show, edit, delete, or export a password:
- Show:
- Tap the password that you want to show.
- Tap Show password π Image
.
- Edit:
- Tap the password you want to change π and then
Edit. - Edit your password.
- When you're finished, tap Done.
- Tap the password you want to change π and then
- Delete:
- At the bottom right, tap Edit.
- Under "Saved Passwords," tap the site you want to remove.
- Tap Delete.
- Export:
- Tap Settings π and then
Export passwords.
- Tap Settings π and then
- Show:
Tips:
- Alternatively, when you tap and hold the specific saved password in the sign-in sheet, you can also manage your passwords through Show details π Image
. - To find or edit your saved passwords, on your keyboard, at the top right, tap Expand π Image
.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app π Chrome
. - Tap More π More

Password Manager π Passwords
. - At the bottom left, tap Settings.
- Turn Offer To Save Passwords off.
If Chrome doesnβt suggest a password, above the keyboard, tap Passwords π Save your password
