Works for me on Linux. In case embedded content isn't working then there may be a cookie problem or in case of YouTube a problem with using an HTTP link instead of an HTTPS link to embed the video.

What kind of error do you get?

Note that this is a Flash player (at least for me), so make sure you allow the Flash plugin.

Start Firefox in to check if one of the extensions (3-bar button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: 3-bar button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Try to enable third-party cookies to see if that has effect.
